Testimonies

The true measure of impact lies in the stories of those whose lives have transformed

Mr. Sanderson has been an amazing mentor for the past three years.

Since the first day we met, he has not hesitated to impart his knowledge, wisdom, and connections to me.

He has always pushed me to get out of my comfort zone and is the inspiration behind the pride that I take in every volunteer position I hold in IEEE.
I've known Christopher for more than 7 years and quickly became acquainted with him as our IEEE Houston Section Awards & Arrangements Chair, part of our succession planning strategy is fostering volunteers with increasing leadership responsibilities within the Section.

Christopher has definitely done that at the Section, Regional, and National levels of IEEE.
Christopher is the BEST at Cross-Functional Team Leadership. He is well organized, diligent, and a fast thinker. We have worked together on multiple IEEE projects. He is involved in many more, yet can be relied upon to unfailingly live up to every one of his commitments.

Its been a pleasure to work with Christopher, he is a trusted friend, colleague, and fellow veteran whom I am honored to work with.
The one thing that stands out is his determination, his energy, his availability.

I strongly recommend Christopher Sanderson for projects that need details attention and leadership that will motivate team members.
His follow through is top notch and he makes himself accessible to all on any team he is leading—this irrespective of a work or volunteer activity.

Christopher is going to do it right, the first time and every time.
He is not only very supportive, but willing to share knowledge and to build up others.

It's always a pleasure working with Chris - as long as I have the strength to keep up! A great man!
He is not only recognized for his contributions by our team but also by other leading professional organizations like IEEE, NSBE and ASQ.

Christopher dedication to purpose, efficiency in action and commitment to excellence reflects great credit upon himself and his industry experience.
"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader." by John Quincy Adams

Christopher was awarded the IEEE-USA John Meredith Professional Service Award in 2021 and IEEE R5 Jim Outstanding Member Award in 2019.
I've had the pleasure of being the mentee of Christopher Sanderson since my 2018 Spring Semester.

Christopher has challenged and inspired me to do my best in my course work and has given me a deeper understanding of the direction my Engineering profession should currently and futurity be headed.

A Few of my positions within IEEE

The heartbeat of IEEE lies in the connections we forge, the friendships we build, and the shared dedication to engineering a future filled with innovation

Now, I must confess, the list may not cover all of my adventures as a member of IEEE, but it does give you a fantastic synopsis of the wild and wonderful ride I've had so far.

From serving as a mentor, sharing knowledge and insights with aspiring engineers, to being honored with awards like the 2020 IEEE-USA John Meredith Professional Service Award, I've had my fair share of exciting moments in the IEEE universe.

Oh, and let's not forget my adventures in virtual meeting systems during the COVID-19 pandemic – mastering the art of online gatherings like a true tech-savvy engineer!

What truly matters to me is the opportunity to connect with fellow professionals, to collaborate, and to make a genuine impact within IEEE and the engineering community. It's the friendships forged, the late-night brainstorming sessions, and the collective drive to engineer a better future that make this journey truly special.
